All are reminded that this event will be preceded by an Academy athletics competition, which will mean that the hall and car park will be very busy up to about 11:15. As usual a car park fee (£5) will be charged on the day, so please allow plenty of time to get parked and into the facility.
Remember that all competitors for the field events that start at 12, must be ready to start warm ups and registration with the event officials for 11:30, so that the events can start at 12 prompt. High Jump competitors are also reminded that each athlete is limited to 7 jumps in total, and 3 failures at a height means that they are excluded from any more attempts.
We are again short of qualified field officials, and unless we can again get some help from parents / spectators, to assist the field officials we do have, we will be unable to offer the full programme of events. Anyone who can help out should report to the registration desk or to the field referree / event officials around 11:30. Your help & support will be much appreciated by both the athletes and the officials!
