About SYCAA

SYCAA is the formally constituted competition provider for South Yorkshire, organising and delivering events in the athletics disciplines of cross country, road, indoor and outdoor track & field. Details of the organisation, the officials, the member clubs and the events can be found in this website.

The organisation is run by volunteers. Members of athletics clubs in the area who are affiliated to the national governing body (England Athletics) can take part in the events organised. Clubs can also have club representatives attend the management committee meetings (four per year) and AGM.

Our aim is to deliver good quality enjoyable competitions for all ages.

Athletes who are not members of affiliated clubs in South Yorkshire can also compete in our events as guests.
