South Yorkshire had the pleasure of hosing the Inter-Counties this year, and it took place at Cudworth, Barnsley on 9th September.
Almost 250 athletes from 7 Counties contested the event, and most events were fully subscribed.
We had one of our best results for a number of years, finishing third – just 11.5 points off second place.

There were 18 PBs for our athletes and Maya Schofield (Rotherham)received a Best Performance award for her 800m of 2:12.53.
Well done to everyone who competed. Next year’s host is Warwickshire, so hopefully we can repeat the good work.
